Face to Face Counselling

Face to face counselling provides a personal and direct interaction in a comfortable and confidential setting. Meeting in person allows for the creation of a safe space where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions. This traditional approach fosters a strong therapeutic relationship and enables me to offer immediate, empathetic support. Located in the heart of York, my practice is easily accessible and designed to provide a serene environment conducive to healing and self-discovery.

Creative Counselling (Face to Face)

Creative counselling integrates various artistic methods into traditional face to face therapy. This approach is ideal for those who find it difficult to express their feelings through words alone. Using activities such as drawing, using figurines, or other creative tools, we can explore your emotions in a deeper, more nuanced way. This form of counselling can help tap into your subconscious, allowing you to uncover and process thoughts and feelings that might not surface through conversation alone.

Online Counselling

Online counselling via Google Meet offers a flexible and convenient option for those who prefer or need to stay at home. This approach ensures you can receive support no matter where you are, making therapy more accessible. Sessions are conducted securely, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality. Online counselling is just as effective as face to face sessions and allows you to engage in therapy from the comfort and safety of your own space, making it easier to fit into your schedule.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy combines the benefits of physical activity and nature with traditional counselling. Conducted in the beautiful outdoor spaces around York, this approach allows for a more relaxed and open environment. Walking side by side can make it easier to discuss difficult topics and provides a different perspective than sitting in an office. The physical movement and natural surroundings can enhance the therapeutic process, helping you to feel more grounded and connected.
