CPD for counsellors and specialist workplace training — creative, thoughtful, and grounded in real practice.

Explore how creativity can support and enrich your counselling practice. These sessions offer a safe, reflective space to learn about creative approaches, notice what you're already doing, and consider whether creative tools might resonate for you and your clients.
From short online introductions to in-person experiential sessions and one-to-one exploration, each training is designed for qualified counsellors or those in advanced training, with opportunities to reflect, observe, and experiment in a supportive environment. No artistic ability is required.
A gentle and accessible introduction for counsellors who are curious about using creativity in their work—but aren't quite sure where to begin.
Creativity in counselling doesn't require artistic skill or complex techniques. It can offer a way of deepening connection, supporting expression, and accessing experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
In this session, I'll share how I use creative approaches within my own practice, alongside reflections on the growing understanding of how and why creativity can support therapeutic work, touching on some of the thinking and research that supports this.
Rather than focusing on how to apply specific techniques, this session offers an overview of the different kinds of creative approaches that exist within counselling—helping you build awareness of what's possible and how creativity might already be present in your work.
This is a webinar-style session, with space to listen and reflect rather than group discussion.
To allow the session to flow and keep to time, questions won't be taken live. However, you're very welcome to submit questions afterwards, and a compiled Q&A document will be shared with all attendees.
A clearer understanding of what "creativity" can look like in counselling
Awareness of the range of creative approaches that exist
Insight into why creative work can be effective, grounded in practice and current thinking
Support in noticing existing creative elements in your practice and reflecting on whether you want to engage with them further.
Qualified counsellors
Counsellors in training (Level 3+)

Q&A responses will be shared after the session via email
A small, reflective space for counsellors to pause, take stock, and reconnect with themselves through gentle creative exploration.
This is not training in techniques, but an opportunity to step out of the role of practitioner and into your own experience. It offers time away from the demands of practice to reflect on where you are in your professional journey.
Through guided prompts and collage-based creative work, you'll be invited to explore where you are in your professional journey:
Where am I right now in my work?
What feels challenging or significant?
What might be emerging—or asking for attention?
What do I need going forward?
There is no pressure to 'move forward' or find answers. This may be a space for clarity, or simply for consolidation, rest, and self-compassion.
Guided creative reflection using collage and prompts
Space for quiet personal exploration
Optional group sharing in a supportive environment
A relaxed break with tea and cake
A visual reflection of your current professional landscape
A deeper sense of self-awareness and compassion
Space to acknowledge your work and where you are within it
Gentle clarity on what you may need next (or permission to pause)
Certificate of attendance
Qualified counsellors at any stage of their career who want space to reflect, reconnect, and be alongside others in a small, thoughtful group. No artistic ability needed.
An experiential, small group training designed to support counsellors in beginning to actively integrate creative interventions into their practice.
This day is grounded in learning through doing. This day is not just about learning tools—it's about experiencing them.
You'll be guided through a range of interventions that can be used at different points in the therapeutic process, alongside time to reflect on your experience of both offering and receiving them.
We'll also gently explore what can hold us back from working creatively, and how to stay grounded, ethical, and client-led in our approach.
Practical creative interventions for beginnings, middles, and endings
Opportunities to try out and reflect on different approaches
Exploration of your own responses to creative work
A supportive space to build confidence
Practical tools you can integrate into your work
Increased confidence in using creative interventions safely and ethically
A deeper understanding of your own therapeutic style
Recognition of how you may already be working creatively
Certificate of attendance
Qualified counsellors (or those nearing qualification) who want to move beyond curiosity and begin actively integrating creative approaches into their work. No artistic ability needed.
Lunch not included
Designed for qualified counsellors, this one-to-one session offers a confidential, reflective space to explore creativity in your practice.
Whether you're curious about developing a creative tool for use with a specific client, trialling an idea in a safe environment, or simply reflecting on how creativity might fit into your work, this session provides dedicated time to explore possibilities tailored to your needs.
Using my experience and knowledge of creative approaches, the session is shaped around what you want to focus on—for example:
Exploring ways to turn something you already use into a creative tool
Trialling a creative intervention in a supportive space
Reflecting on how creative approaches might support your practice
Please note: this is not a formal supervision session. It's an opportunity to reflect, experiment, and receive guidance in a supportive, confidential environment.
